PosaClima InDoor Door Frame Template : door frame mounting template suitable for doors with a width of between 60 and 100cm and complete with universal locking clamp. Two templates are used per door, to be positioned approximately 20 cm and 150 cm from the floor level.
Universal template for mounting door frames in the PosaClima InDoor PREMIUM PLUS swing door system: it has been designed to ensure precise alignment and easy installation, solving many of the common challenges encountered when installing doors.
Template Door Frame PosaClima InDoor - Fields of Application
The template is suitable for frames with a depth between 10 and 20 cm . For larger measurements it is necessary to have the special plate. The use of the template facilitates the correct alignment and parallelism of the jambs and the plumb-line fixing.
The assembly template is a useful tool for blocking the jambs of the swing door frame in a parallel and aligned manner. It is essential for assembly without the use of screws in swing doors , as provided in the PosaClima Indoor Premium Plus system. It is suitable for doors with anuba opening systems or concealed hinges, with standard or flush-to-wall assembly, both on false wooden frame (doors on masonry partitions), false steel frame (doors on plasterboard partitions), false PVC frame (special applications)
For each door you need 2 templates, positioned approximately 150cm and approximately 20cm from the foot of the frame.
ATTENTION: this mounting template does not fit all doors!
The Door Frame PosaClima InDoor mounting template is NOT suitable for mounting special doors, such as:
Sliding doors;
Roto-translating doors;
Folding doors;
Vertical pivot doors.
Furthermore, the PosaClima InDoor PREMIUM PLUS system is not suitable for doors with particular specifications (such as fire doors or security doors). For them, the installation system refers to the instructions of the manufacturer of the door itself.
Instructions for use of the Door Frame Posaclima Indoor door checkers
Here is the guide dedicated to using the Door Frame door template of the PosaClima Indoor system. Let's see step by step how to effectively use this innovative tool, designed to revolutionize the way internal doors are mounted.
1 - Assembly of the door frame
Form the door frame and place it on the ground with the hinges resting on the floor; the Posa Clima Door Frame assembly template must be positioned on the side opposite the hinges.
2 - Extension of the Door Frame PosaClima InDoor template
Extend the template, adapting it to the internal width of the door frame near the crosspiece and lock it with the appropriate handwheel. Then remove the template.
3 - Locking the template at the correct size
After having adapted the template to the internal width of the crosspiece, read the measurement on the millimeter rod and extend it by a further millimeter before acting on the locking handwheel. The extra millimeter of extension is necessary to compensate for the compression of the support plate gaskets, which occurs when the template is locked onto the frame.
4 - Final positioning on the frame
Position 2 DOOR FRAME fixing templates at a height of approximately 150 and 20 cm from the foot of the frame. Measure both sides to ensure perfect parallelism. Insert the clamps into the groove of the telescopic band, tightening the respective handwheels and then firmly block the template.
NB: before positioning the frame in the wall compartment, check the internal measurement of the frame, which is parallel in the three points:
• upper crossbar;
• central template;
• lower template.
5 - Positioning and fixing the frame in the wall compartment
After blocking the Posa Clima Door Frame templates and checking the internal dimensions of the frame, proceed with its positioning in the wall compartment. Subsequently carry out the temporary block and check the lead wire, and then proceed with the subsequent operations of definitive fixing of the frame and the side ties with PosaClima Door Fix foaming adhesive.
NB: remove the templates only after the foaming adhesive has dried, not before 20 minutes.
