To have a good energy result of the compartment where the roller shutter is rolled up, it is not enough to replace the windows, it is also necessary to pay attention to two very critical and often neglected points: the roller shutter box and the passing sill.
The first element is a real hole that occupies two thirds of the section of the wall, closed towards the inside by a modest inspection cover a few millimeters thick.

Also for this reason, ENEA, in its publication on the energy improvement of the home, puts the insulation of the box in the first place in terms of effectiveness / convenience. However, in the absence of a standardized intervention system, many window and door manufacturers still neglect these problems.

I highly recommend using Windowo to anyone looking for a window actuator. Don't waste your time on any other sites which seem to charge a lot more for the same product. (They probably buy them here and add their profit.) They are a professional company with outstanding service. They took great care with the packaging, and it arrived in perfect condition.
